I mean don’t get me wrong I loved every minute of my time over the pond but I started getting home sick toward the end of the trip. This was my first time traveling to a foreign country without my loved ones. I made new friends and grew a stronger bond with my friends who went on the trip, especially my roommates on this trip. I learned so much throughout this trip and have a deeper passion for plants and gardens than I did before this trip. I got to touch and smell and walk through some of my favorite plants and plants that I have never seen before in my life. I know now that I want to create a garden that people can come and make them feel like they have been transported to another world. I want them to feel like all of their stress and worries have been washed away while walking through this garden. The reason why I want to create a place like this is because some of the gardens I visited in the UK, France, Ireland, and Italy had this affect on me when I was walking through the garden. Its hard to describe a place like this without truly getting to experience it yourself. Its hard to find a place like this sometimes back home unless you know where to go. The mountains and Gibbs garden are those places for me. I hope to reach my goal one day so that I can use this experience to create a garden that people will come and enjoy themselves and find their happy place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
After spending two and half weeks traveling around Europe, I am ready to be back home and see my family, friends, and boyfriend.
