When I came home, everyone asked me what my favorite place was. It is so hard for me to pick just one place that was my favorite. Each place had something that I loved about it- the gardens, the museums, or the food. I just got back from my trip, but I already cannot wait to go back and visit some of my favorite places and explore even more of the countries. Talking to friends who haven\u2019t studied abroad, I cannot stop telling them about all the amazing experiences I had; hopefully I have convinced them to go on this trip next year. Studying abroad has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college career. I have made new friends with people I would have never met if not for this trip. After this trip I have a new appreciation for the beauty of gardens and plan to replicate some of what I saw in my own garden some day. I even have a new favorite flower, a rhododendron! It has taken a while for it to sink in that I have traveled to 5 countries in only 18 days. I always dreamed of going to the places on our itinerary and they all definitely surpassed my expectations. I loved being able to studying something I wouldn\u2019t have normally chosen to study on campus. That is what drew me to this trip- the opportunity to study and experience new things in so many different cultures. It was an incredible experience that has been a catalyst for, hopefully, future trips abroad and learning even more about horticulture, history, and culture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
