It&#8217;s strange to know that when I step off this plane, this weird bubble I&#8217;ve been in for the past month will burst, and I&#8217;ll return to &#8220;normal&#8221; life. Actually, I don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s possible now. I don&#8217;t quite know how things will be different, but I know they will be. Obviously I&#8217;m returning with some incredible new friends, but also my state of mind has changed. To have two professors who complemented each other so well, showcased a well rounded trip that left me with a greater appreciation for history, art, and architecture and also the emotional and personal connection that traveling has. I was so lucky to have Erasmo and T. Smalls on this trip and I couldn&#8217;t have asked for a better group either.
