What a time it was. I made some amazing memories with some great people and learned so much more about Costa Rican culture and the birds that live there.<\/p>\n<p>Coming back home after spending three weeks in an amazing country with wonderful new friends is a lot harder than one might think. Sure, it was nice to sleep in my own bed. Of course I missed my family and friends, but those three weeks flew by. If money wasn\u2019t a factor, I could have easily spent months there.<\/p>\n<p>Studying abroad in Costa Rica made me realize that my problems at home weren\u2019t so big after all. I hiked more and worried less. I didn\u2019t need Wi-Fi, I just needed some friends and the world that surrounded us. This trip helped me grow as an individual and I will always be grateful for that.<\/p>\n<p>It is so true when people say that traveling is the only thing you can spend money on that will make your life richer. Spending time in a foreign country gave me a new perspective on life and changed my soul forever.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Costa Rica.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Now that I have finally adjusted back to being in the states, I can properly reflect on the time that I spent in Costa Rica.
