I have traveled to 25 states and 12 countries (which will be 13 after this trip). Even in my middle school and early high school years, I knew I wanted to study abroad. I heard about this Romania trip specifically for my major and I couldn&#8217;t help but think &#8220;&#8230;where exactly is Romania?&#8221; I&#8217;ve heard of UGA Costa Rica study abroad trips, or ones to Oxford, but Romania?? Even as I tell friends and family today, I still get weird looks. But isn&#8217;t that what makes the trip so much more exciting? Going to a place people have never been, much less hardly heard of?! As the countdown is 4 days now, it&#8217;s starting to feel real. I am officially pumped! I cannot wait to apply my communications knowledge to foreign organizations, as well as experience the raw culture of what is my first study abroad trip to Romania.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have always had a true passion for traveling.
