One of the professors from the Dumfries Campus drove us around the southern part of Scotland. We rode in a top heavy, stick shift van on some very curvy, tight roads, and we may or may not have been well over the speed limit (at least by 30 km\/h) the entire time. Our first stop was to Brighouse Bay. Obviously, we didn’t have any desire to get in the water, but we had a blast jumping from rock to rock in search of seashells. For lunch we went to Kirroughtree Visitor Center where we had a photoshoot in front of a snow capped mountain. Clatteringshaws was our last stop. We had yet another photoshoot, but this time it was in front of a stone wall. I was pretty sure we were trespassing, but, in Scotland, if you don’t cause harm to anyone or anything it’s perfectly fine to trespass!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
