It really is a shame that the study abroad to Uruguay had to come to an end. Going into the trip, I was amped up and really eager to get learn and \u00a0see first hand another country’s agricultural production system. Whenever I hype something up before it happens, I am often let down because the experience never lives up to my way too high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised how my high expectations were actually surpassed. Not only was Uruguay a beautiful country with warm and welcoming people, but it was also a country with fascinating production systems. I learned more in Uruguay during my brief trip than I would have ever had hoped to learn in a semester long class. Although I wish I could have stayed longer, I have really cherished the opportunity to get to study abroad with some of the best and brightest people I’ve ever met, and if it was possible to go again, I 100% would.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
