I have had so much work to complete beforehand between my research and my classes. My luggage is half packed though. So I have that going for me. This isn&#8217;t my first study abroad experience; I stayed in Vienna, Austria\u00a0 for four months, so my family isn&#8217;t worried about me being out of the country. I don&#8217;t have any fears associated with traveling to Costa Rica other than I don&#8217;t speak the language and I might not me able to communicate effectively. I can greet people and ask where is\u00a0 the bathroom. Why am I interested in Costa Rica? As food science major, this trip will give me an opportunity to experience coffee production firsthand. I am always interested in how things are made and experiencing different cultures.
