However, I still find myself thinking daily about the time I spent there, and not because I&#8217;ve been working on a big journal assignment ever since either. When I go to the park to run,\u00a0when I see artwork in different homes and buildings, even when I look at my cell phone wallpaper, I am reminded of the fun I had and the lessons learned while abroad. I truly consider myself blessed and lucky. As a first generation American, this opportunity wasn&#8217;t even on my radar, and I was initially discouraged. But as I opened my eyes to the world of opportunity available through the UGA, I couldn&#8217;t help but take advantage, even in my senior year. It was worth every dime and I thank God and UGA for making it possible. I can&#8217;t wait to start collecting art and have my own garden in the future, and the things I learned about humanity, reflection, and\u00a0meditation will very much be a part of the next step in my life.
