On one of our many nights in Havana, we ventured to an art museum that also harbored different areas of nightlife and music. It was a facility I’d never experienced before and I fell in love with the people and culture. What once was a warehouse for light manufacturing, they developed the building to host beautiful art pieces and live artists. Each hall had a new experience, for example, one room had a fashion show displaying afro-latino fashion, and right next door was dancing lessons. Filled with constant movement the whole building was alive and was the main point of attraction for Cuban people as well as many tourists. My favorite part was the concert that was held in one of the venues. Everyone had a good time and felt the movement of the music even if they didn’t know the language. Definitely an unforgettable experience.
