Before leaving for Scotland, I felt adequately prepared thanks to our professors. They had warned many many times about the temperatures. When they said cold I thought it can’t be that bad. Upon arriving I quickly knew what they meant when they said cold. It was cold cold. I spent many days under 4 layers of clothes and still wishing that I had more. The wind and frigid temperatures often hurt but made for many many laughs. When preparing for your trip, research the temperature and over prepare instead of under preparing. If the professors say cold, pack according so you will not regret the extra weight in your luggage. Do not let the cold stop you though! Some of my favorite memories were from the freezing lochness tour!
