As I was getting ready to leave Toulouse part of me was ready to be home and another part was sad to leave such a beautiful country. This was such an amazing opportunity and I am so glad that I got to have this experience. Not only did I get to see the city of Toulouse and the French countryside, I also got to spend a weekend in Nice which is apart of the French Riviera. I even got to travel to London for a few days to see some of their historical sites. Although I enjoyed my experience abroad I did miss the little things from home like restaurants having ice and not having to walk 15,000+ steps a day just to get somewhere. And even though the French have amazing food, I was so excited to see a Chick-fil-a when we finally landed in Charlotte.

To anyone who is considering doing a Study Abroad, I highly recommend it. It has sparked my interest in seeing more of the world and especially more of Europe. This has probably been my most memorable college experience that I’ll look back on years after I have graduated from UGA.
