As I stow my final items away into my luggage, it dawns on me that this time tomorrow I will be waking up in a new country! Having never been in a tropical ecosystem, I find it hard to imagine what I may discover in this unknown land. Excitement and the nervous traveller within me awoke with my alarm this morning. The drive to the Atlanta airport is the biggest obstacle between me and this adventure now, and I look forward with optimism that all will go according to plan. I wonder what the next ten days will hold, what memories will be made, and what friendships blossom.
