Four more days until I, along with 18 other people, board a plane for Costa Rica.  To say I’m excited would be an understatement.  I’ve been wanting to study abroad on this coffee trip for two years now.  I can’t believe the trip is finally here!  Along with excitement, I’m mostly just stressed.  Choosing to study abroad so close to the end of the semester and finals has really made school work tougher.  I have less time to finish assignments and work on projects before I leave and over the break.  I also feel like I’m going to forget something or be late for my flight!  (From a combination of stress and excitement :/)  Studying abroad over Thanksgiving means no family time… sort of.  I’m lucky enough to be traveling with my brother to Costa Rica.  This is going to make the trip even more exciting and memorable.  One last hoorah before his graduation in December.

So, although my nerves may be getting the best of me right now with the whirlwind of assignments and craziness that comes with preparing for a trip, I’m mostly excited as I await the departure for the trip of a lifetime!

Costa Rica, here I come!
