Thanks to COVID-19 safety protocols, several Srinivasan Lab students and researchers attended the Entomological Society of America annual meeting in Denver, Colorado from October 31 to November 3. This is THE event of the year for entomologists–a place to network, catch up with friends, learn about cutting-edge research, and explore a new city!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graduate students Yi-Ju Chen and Sudeep Pandey, as well as post-doctoral researchers Habibu Mugerwa and Saptarshi Ghosh traveled to Denver, where they presented components of their research. Dr. Mugerwa (with Dr. Ghosh in the background) was even featured giving his talk on the Entomological Society of America’s Twitter feed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ESA meetings aren’t all business. The Society organizes events and tours, and there’s always plenty of sightseeing to do. Our group went to the mountains to play in the snow–a rarity in Griffin, Georgia!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
