Contact <a href=\"mailto:yhung@uga.edu\">yhung@uga.edu<\/a> if you would like to have your training information posted here.<\/p>\n<h4>Annual Peanut Tour<\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/georgiapeanuttour.com\/\">Georgia Peanut Tour<\/a> is a yearly event sponsored by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gapeanuts.com\">Georgia Peanut Commission<\/a>.&nbsp; It highlights a cross-section of the peanut industry from field to manufacturing.&nbsp; The tour is a 2-3 day event beginning with a \u201cHot Topics\u201d seminar. The seed seminar brings together representatives from peanut associations and industry to talk about topics pertaining to the peanut seed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/site.caes.uga.edu\/pins\/training-materials\/seed-seminar-2009\/\">See our review of the 2009 seed seminar<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><a id=\"HACCP\" name=\"HACCP\"><\/a>HACCP in the peanut industry<\/h4>\n<p>Learn more about <a href=\"https:\/\/foodscience.caes.uga.edu\/extension\/workshops.html\">HACCP workshops and trainings offered by UGA Food Science and Technology Extension<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><a id=\"SPGC\" name=\"SPGC\"><\/a>Southern Peanut Growers Conference<\/h4>\n<p>This is a yearly conference presented by the <a href=\"https:\/\/southernpeanutfarmers.org\/\">Southern Peanut Farmers Federation<\/a>. Featuring general sessions providing farmers with information on peanut research, legislative issues and promotional efforts of the peanut industry, the <a href=\"https:\/\/southernpeanutfarmers.org\/southern-peanut-growers-conference\/\">Southern Peanut Growers Conference<\/a> is held annually in July.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/site.caes.uga.edu\/pins\/training-materials\/a-review-of-the-12th-annual-southern-peanut-growers-conference-held-july-22-24-2010-at-the-edgewater-beach-resort\/\">See our review of the 2010 conference<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><a id=\"PLA\" name=\"PLA\"><\/a>Peanut Leadership Academy<\/h4>\n<p>The Peanut Leadership Academy is a cooperative effort between grower organizations and agricultural extension. The academy is sponsored by Syngenta Crop Protection and the American Peanut Shellers Association.
