The article, published in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/journals\/usnr20\">Society &amp; Natural Resources<\/a>, examined behavior change interventions for residential landscape irrigation based on generalized, expectancy-based, and value-expectancy injunctive and descriptive norms.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One major finding was generalized norms, which include people who are important in someone\u2019s life, are the most important predictor of eliminating irrigated landscape area. Generalized norms can be difficult to target, however, considering how specific they are to each person\u2019s life.
