Biography<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Olivia Erskine served as a graduate assistant in the Lamm Lab from 2022-2024. She earned her M.A.E.E. in science communication at the University of Georgia in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication. Her master’s research focused on science communication, climate-smart adaptations in community gardens, and water conservation. She received her B.S. from Clemson University in 2020 in environmental and natural resources with a concentration in natural resources and economic policy. She worked as an undergraduate student researcher at Clemson University studying aquaponics, urban farming, and biomechanics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research Interests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Olivia is interested in researching environmental justice, science communication, and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current Projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Olivia’s thesis work explored how community garden coordinators and participants perceive and adopt climate-smart adaptations in their gardens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
