Biography<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rose Tran is an undergraduate student in the College of Public Health studying Health Promotion with a Behavioral Medicine emphasis and a Global Health minor as well as an MPH Double Dawgs pathway student at the University of Georgia. She will complete her Bachelor of Science in the summer of 2024 and her Master\u2019s in the spring of 2025, after which she plans to attend medical school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose was a field data collection research assistant with the Healthier Together project<\/a> and worked alongside faculty and doctoral students to evaluate the project\u2019s progress within the 5 counties during summer 2022 and was a CURO scholar in the lab during the 2022-2023 academic year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a Public Service and Outreach Student Scholar in the Vice President\u2019s Office of Public Service and Outreach. In her free time, she likes to read, thrift, and listen to Harry Styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research Interests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rose\u2019s research interests include social determinants of health, community identities, and health disparities in both the domestic and global spheres. She hopes to be a practicing physician focused on community-based healthcare and forming sustainable health practices and policies.<\/p>\n<\/div>
