Guy Hancock is an Agricultural Data Scientist and Extension Specialist in the Department of Agricultural & Applied Economics at the University of Georgia (UGA), Tifton Campus. A few of Hancock’s primary responsibilities at the University of Georgia include developing enterprise budgets for fruits and vegetables, assessing crop and farm losses due to disasters, and offering other fruit and vegetable Extension programs related to economics and crop budgeting. He has experience working with crops such as bell pepper, onion, strawberry, sweet corn, tomato, and watermelon in Georgia. As part of the team, he will assist in analyzing the economic results of field trials that producers can use to boost their production efficiency.
