Andy Wyenandt

Andrew Wyenandt is an Extension Specialist in Vegetable Pathology at Rutgers University, where his research and outreach emphasize disease management in peppers and other solanaceous crops. He has led extensive studies on Phytophthora blight, anthracnose, and skin separation in bell peppers, integrating fungicide programs and cultural practices to improve crop health and yield. Through collaborative trials and grower education, Wyenandt advances sustainable strategies for managing complex diseases in solanaceous vegetables across the mid-Atlantic region.
