Job Duties

Lead and inspire yourself and a team member, ensuring meticulous care and attention to detail in every landscape we maintain.
Oversee garden maintenance activities including proper hand-pruning, planting, soil care, and fertilization — no mechanical hedge shearing here!
Conduct regular garden walk-throughs to monitor plant health, seasonal needs, and aesthetic quality.
Mentor and train crew members on fine gardening techniques, plant identification, and environmentally responsible practices.
Maintain tools and equipment with care, fostering a culture of respect for craftsmanship and quality work.
Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager to understand client visions and suggest thoughtful enhancements.
Keep accurate records of plant health observations, treatments, material usage, and project updates.

Job Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience in fine gardening, plant care, and landscape maintenance.
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, encouraging style — team-building is key!
Deep knowledge of horticultural best practices, including pruning, fertilization, and pest/disease management.
Excellent communication skills to interact thoughtfully with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with resilience and a love for nature.
A keen eye for detail, artistic sensibility, and a heart for the beauty of plants.
