Our educational mission is a global one.
Every year, up to ten aspiring gardeners and horticultural experts travel from other countries to study at Longwood as interns or trainees.
Both the International Internship and the International Training Programs are authorized by the U.S. Department of State for a J-1 Visa and allow participants to expand their knowledge in one of these areas: Horticulture and Library and Information Services

Job Qualifications
– currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside of the United States – graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to his or her exchange visitor program begin date
