The RISE for Nutrition annual grant funds research on cost-effective, scalable innovations designed to improve nutrition interventions in East Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The 2018 RFA includes a multi-stage process starting with this open call for concept notes. The process now consists of:\u00a0 <!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an initial open call for concept notes;<\/li>\n<li>the shortlisting of semi-finalists whose projects best fit the selection criteria;<\/li>\n<li>a workshop series where ECF supports the semi-finalists to develop a full proposal in collaboration with the foundation and external experts;<\/li>\n<li>the scoring of final applications and the selection of finalists, who are presented to the board for approval; and<\/li>\n<li>the grant refinement process, where ECF and the prospective grantee agree on final implementation and research parameters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guidance for the 2018 Request for Application is at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eleanorcrookfoundation.org\/\">www.eleanorcrookfoundation.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Questions about the RFA should be submitted by 31 October and Concept Notes by 25 November 2018 to <a href=\"mailto:RFA@eleanorcrookfoundation.org\">RFA@eleanorcrookfoundation.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Eleanor Crook Foundation (ECF) is accepting applications for the 2018 RISE (Research, Innovate, Scale, Establish) for Nutrition.
