The webinars will showcase lessons learned from the field and generate discussion to highlight existing challenges and opportunities to reach scale and impact.<\/p>\n<p>Rural youth employment: Emerging challenges and targeted solutions will be held Wednesday, 28 February from 9 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time (2 p.m. GMT).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This webinar aims to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raise awareness and sensitize on the importance of addressing emerging issues related to rural youth employment in Africa and beyond;<\/li>\n<li>Present FAO and NEPAD experiences and lessons learnt at country level<em>;<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Showcase and discuss good practices and tailored responses to emerging issues, e.g. success factors for entrepreneurship development at local level; radicalization, et<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) has the youngest population in the world, with more than 60% of the 960 million population below the age of 24.
