{"id":2263,"date":"2017-10-06T10:37:52","date_gmt":"2017-10-06T14:37:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/site.caes.uga.edu\/pmil\/?p=2263"},"modified":"2017-10-06T10:37:52","modified_gmt":"2017-10-06T14:37:52","slug":"conference-for-ag-information-specialists-in-africa-seeks-workshop-leaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.caes.uga.edu\/ftfpeanutlab\/2017\/10\/conference-for-ag-information-specialists-in-africa-seeks-workshop-leaders\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference for ag information specialists in Africa seeks workshop leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The International Association of Agricultural Information Specialists (IAALD) Africa Chapter (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaald-africa.org\/\">www.iaald-africa.org<\/a>) and the Information Training and Outreach Centre for Africa (ITOCA) (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itoca.org\/\">www.itoca.org<\/a>) is soliciting proposals for papers and workshops\/seminars to be presented at the 4th IAALD Africa Conference in\u00a0Pretoria, South Africa, 30 May to 1 June 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Papers should reflect and explore the conference theme, \u201cAgricultural innovations, information and knowledge: Catalyzing the attainment of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development and the African Union Agenda 2063.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Workshops can be organized as 2\/3-day pre-conference events (27 to 29 May) or half-day events (31 May).
