The program, \u201cU.S. Government\u2019s Global Food Security Research Strategy: From Upstream Research to Development Impact,\u201d will be held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aplu.org\/projects-and-initiatives\/international-programs\/bifad\/bifad-meetings.html\">broadcast live on the Internet<\/a>. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The summary of the U.S. Government\u2019s new Global Food Security Research Strategy will be followed by sessions on \u201cCutting-Edge Science for Development\u201d at 9:40; \u201cPractical Applications of Research Results\u201d at 11 a.m. and \u201cApplying Research to Emerging Threats\u201d at 11:50 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The 24 U.S. university-led Feed the Future Innovation Labs (including the Peanut &amp; Mycotoxin Innovation Lab) will hold an interactive science expo between morning and afternoon sessions.
