(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeanddate.com\/worldclock\/converter.html\">Click here for a time zone converter.<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>AGRIS (International System for Agricultural Science and Technology) is a global public database on agricultural science and technology that is maintained by CIARD. The content is provided by participating institutions across the world that form the network of AGRIS centers.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One of the main objectives of AGRIS is to improve the access and exchange of information serving the information-related needs of developed and developing countries on a partnership basis. AGRIS contains more than 8 million bibliographic references on agricultural research and technology &amp; links to related data resources on the Web, like DBPedia, World Bank, Nature, FAO Fisheries and FAO Country profiles.<\/p>\n<p>The webinar will be presented by Thembani Malapela of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, who is responsible for\u00a0 AGRIS user-support and communication.<\/p>\n<p>The session is open to anyone but places are limited.
