SEED (Sow and Encourage Economic Development) Foundation is taking 2016 grant proposals for pilot projects that are based on an innovative agricultural development in one of the program\u2019s target countries in Africa.<\/p>\n
The call for proposal aims at financing the pilot phase of an innovative project. Therefore, SEED Foundation takes the role of an incubator to allow, by leverage, the pursuit of the other phases of the project.<\/p>\n
This call for proposals is open to any French organization of general interest which has already studied the feasibility of its project. The project itself should be innovative and act sustainably on the farming and food sectors.<\/p>\n
The SEED Foundation\u2019s grant will be between \u20ac 7,000 and \u20ac 15,000, spread over a maximum of three years. It will represent between 10% and 70% of the total budget of the project. The overall budget for this call for proposals is \u20ac 45,000.<\/p>\n
Projects that are considered for a grant must be in the pilot phase, take place in an eligible African country, and be sustainable. The applicant must be a French organization of general interest that is able to issue tax receipts and must have similar experiences in the agricultural development domain in Africa.<\/p>\n
The SEED Foundation selection process results annually to support 3 new projects.<\/p>\n
