Conference organizers are seeking abstracts for oral and poster presentations for the 2016 Integrated Nutrition Conference, scheduled for Nov. 14-16 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Conference objectives are to identify strategies for civil society, government and academia to partner with the private sector in addressing the nutritional needs of vulnerable populations, as well as leverage private sector products, services, technologies and practices that support the nutritional needs of vulnerable populations.

All abstracts will be blind and peer reviewed according to these criteria:

  • Relevance to the conference objectives
  • Overall quality (clarity, organization, and completeness)
  • Innovation with respect to promising practices
  • Timeliness of the information and applicability to current needs of stakeholders
  • Advancement of knowledge in the field and potential for global public health application
  • Extent to which the presentation bridges research and practice (for research abstracts)
  • Methodological rigor (for research abstracts)
  • Quality of the data on performance/innovations/lessons learned (for experiential learning abstracts)

Submission deadline is 15 June at 9 p.m. EST, and authors will be notified if their abstract has been selected by July 22.
