We had the privilege to organize our first CEA Grower’s Visit at @UGAGriffin. Lots of excellent talks and enthusiasm for team work was impressive and motivating. We look forward to make this an annual event. Cheers to @tropicalandrew who did a great job in organizing this event.

First project of our PhD student @agribijay . Great job

Excited to kick off our experiment at UGA! We transplanted 3 parthenocarpic zucchini cultivars (Golden Boy, Noche, Dunja) on 3 substrates (Promix, Coco Coir, HydroPro) under controlled conditions. @SudeepPandey18 @CEAlab_UGA

We wrapped up the last day of sampling for grafting project. Huge kudos to amazing undergraduate worker, Sam, for his invaluable help. With sampling complete, first project of postdoc @SudeepPandey18, is now moving forward into the exciting stages of lab work and bioinformatics.

Caitlin is a second-year M.S. student in Plant Breeding, working in the Chavez Lab on the Griffin campus. Her research explores peach population genetics.
