Building a Positive Safety Culture at Green Diamond
Since 2019, I have served as the Southern Safety Lead at Green Diamond, and for the first two years in that role, I was the only safety manager in the entire South. I managed the safety training for 25 people across six states. I quickly realized that our current policies, procedures, and training were outdated and did not fit our company’s needs. My project is to recruit, train, and rebrand our safety program to create consistent training across all operation areas, establish credibility amongst company personnel, and build better morale.
