Adding the Certificate is a simple, four-step process:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Get approval from your major professor and advisory committee for adding the Certificate to your major program of study.<\/li>\n<li>Although not mandatory, it will be very helpful if you can complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/site.caes.uga.edu\/agdatascience\/files\/2025\/05\/certifiate-plan-of-study-form-2024.pdf\">Certificate Interest Form<\/a> at your earliest convenience. This will provide you with a roadmap and timeline for completing the Certificate coursework and help us advise and track students interested in the program.<\/li>\n<li>Once you have completed the coursework and prior to your graduation, formally add the Certificate by completing the graduate-level <a href=\"https:\/\/reg.uga.edu\/_resources\/documents\/imported\/Curriculum_Change_Form_v1.2.2.pdf\">Curriculum Change Request Form<\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/reg.uga.edu\/faculty-and-staff\/curriculum-changes\/\">Registrar&#8217;s web page<\/a>\u00a0and submitting it via the Certificate Coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>In the semester you graduate, you must apply to graduate for the Certificate via Athena &#8211; just like applying to graduate for your major degree (instructions are available at <a href=\"https:\/\/reg.uga.edu\/students\/apply-to-graduate\/\">this link<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Graduate Certificate in Agricultural Data Science is open to enrolled, degree-seeking graduate students at the University of Georgia.
